Group Blog Reflection 2

I am very happy with how we have moved moved through the group blog and our preparation to create a music video. So far we have created a full storyboard showing each shot of our video and how long it could take. There are also drawn images to help reflect the specifics of the shot. We have also created a risk assessment, which mention every detail of what risks and hazards we may be taking when shooting our music video. Hazards such as the weather and physical exertion are some of the many hazards we must consider when shooting. We also noted the locations and narrowed down who would be the Director, Producer and Camera Operator for the video.

I feel that we are very organised and nearly ready to begin shooting for our music video, now we need to create a shooting script to go over every detail within the music video and consider anything that could go wrong on the shooting day and what we could do to prevent that. We will also note down all of the enhancements we would make to the location such as lighting or props.

After we create our shooting script we would then begin shooting at our 4 locations. Shooting will take up to 2 weeks to get everything we need to then go into editing. Christmas is our deadline to get our music video fully completed and edited which then gives us around 3-4 weeks of solid editing to get the music video looking as professional as possible.
